The Scorpena RedLine Gamma 2 is a classic model of a dual-lens mask with a durable plastic frame and a soft silicone seal.
Tempered glass and impact-resistant frame material make the mask resistant to mechanical damage. The most vulnerable part, in terms of the likelihood of breakage – the buckles, are not rigidly attached to the plastic frame, but to the silicone skirt through flexible inserts. In the vast majority of cases, this prevents the buckles from breaking off when pressed carelessly and excessively. On the RedLine Gamma 2 mask, the buckles simply fold! This design also allows the mask to be compactly and flatly folded for transportation in conditions of limited space.
Another key feature of the RedLine Gamma 2 mask is the strap tension adjustment buttons. Both buckles are equipped with two large buttons on top and bottom – for loosening the tension. Unlike all other adjustment systems, they are very easy to feel even with thick gloves.
The hypoallergenic silicone seal fits snugly to the face and prevents skin irritation. The double sealing of the silicone skirt effectively seals and prevents water leakage for practically any face type.
