It’s used to anchor your float to a spot whilst you dive around it. You can either use it as a normal drop weight to mark a spot, or pop open the quad barbs to claw into the ground when in a tidal flow. These can be deployed when you find a lobster hole or you can drop it in front of a cave you want to explore after resting up on the surface for a while.
